Appearances

Members of CARS have traveled as far as Washington, D.C., to meet with Congressional leaders and Department of the Interior staff. Some have gone to Connecticut to learn about the impacts the Mohegan Sun Casino has had on surrounding communities.

We also have addressed local community governments, chambers of commerce, the Clark County Intergovernmental Roundtable, the national Coalition Against Gambling Expansion, the U.S. Senate, and community and environmental groups.

Our members never shy away from an opportunity to speak with interested groups.
