Write a letter

Express your views! Whether you write an elected official or an open letter to readers of The Columbian, it will help demonstrate that the people of Clark County care about what happens to their communities.

Guidelines for writing a letter to the editor at The Columbian are available on its Web site.

What follow are U.S. mail and e-mail addresses, and fax numbers for your use. Please note that due to heightened security in the Washington, D.C.-based Senate and House office buildings, letters sent there might take weeks to reach their addressees. Instead, consider delivering or sending letters for Sen. Cantwell, Sen. Murray and Rep. Baird to their Vancouver offices (which will then forward your correspondence), sending faxes or sending e-mails without attachments, which we are told will get blocked.
